PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EMERGING ARTIST

Fine Comb Theatre are excited to offer a paid professional development opportunity for one emerging theatre artist based in Boorloo/Perth. 

 

As a company, we know that paid development opportunities can be difficult to access. This opportunity has been created to provide an emerging artist with insight into our creative process, while offering practical support as they continue to develop their own artistic practice. For this opportunity, we consider an emerging artist to be someone in the early stages of their professional career.

 

We are offering one emerging artist the opportunity to observe some of our development process for our production Still Water (Working Title). There will also be an option for a one-to-one mentor meeting with the company's Artistic Director, offering support in any way we can. This session can be tailored to your interests and may include career advice, creative feedback, questions about the industry, or support in planning your next steps as an artist.

 

The successful applicant will be required to attend 18 hours of rehearsal across the development period, at times agreed with the producers.  There will be a $546.00 payment for the successful applicant to subsidise their time and costs. An ABN is required for payment.
